Real Valladolid linked with incredible Diego Costa move.

Diego Costa could return to La Liga if the 36-year-old striker accepts an offer from Real Valladolid.

Ufabet reported on Monday that Real Valladolid have contacted Diego Costa representatives to try and bring the 36-year-old forward back to Spain. 

Costa previously played for Real Valladolid from 2009-2010 before moving to Atletico Madrid. Then Chelsea, Atletico Mineiro, Wolverhampton, Botafogo, and finally Gremio in 2024, where his contract expired on 1 January. 

Real Valladolid are currently fighting for survival after collecting just 12 points from the first 18 games of the season. Which is currently the lowest in the Spanish league. Part of the problem is the attacking game, which has scored only 12 goals, the second-fewest after Getafe.

Costa is currently a free agent, meaning Real Valladolid are hoping to sign the 36-year-old on a short-term deal to help them maintain their hopes of staying in La Liga this season.
